You know what? I'd take him. We don't have a player on the roster with that "dog" mentality. We need one of those. We got a bunch of choir boys.

Did he discover the fountain of youth? Or experimental stem cell rejuvenation? Because, no clue why we'd want him. Unless he wants to become a coach...

I know jack about the kind of basketball mind he has.

They wouldn't bring him in for his on court performance.

Though this is completely just his words.

I guess he would love to get another paycheck. Even the vet minimum for him is over a million bucks.

3-4 years ago I wanted him here.

I like the fact he chose to say that he would love to come here. Says a lot.

Yes, absolutely! Who knows if Dell will offer him at least a training camp deal. It still shows the league that the Pelicans are a building a good foundation when you have veterans looking to play here.

He's had a long career and has been very successful in the league. He knows how to win and I think he could be a positive influence as a player/mentor. If he improves chemistry and does whatever gentry asks of him I think it would be worth adding him to the roster. We already have our team. Unless we trade Reke or Asik the team is set.
