His shot-making reminds me of Kyrie and his set/jumper looks like Michael Redd. Not comparing to those guys just saying his style reminds me of those guys.

Definitely interesting, at least for a camp invite.

6'6" and long, with a nice first step and handles, with plus athleticism.

Do what? I'm not saying he'll be Kyrie Redd... but look at the way he finishes, and it reminds me of Kyrie. He has the pull-back in his shot like Redd did, and he's a lefty... looks like Redd's form.

Dude might not get thru the first practice at camp.

I like what I see a lot from this kid. I think he has a really good shot at making this team. I think he can be what we hoped we would get from BDJ. Loved BDJ and was sad to see him go especially the way he did. RIP BDJ. This kid has some real talent along with great size and athleticism. As a 3rd SG/SF off the bench for now he could be a great fit. One thing that hurt him in the draft was his shooting which he really turned on towards the end of his season. He shot 34% from 3 point during the season improving from his 26% the previous year. A good sign though is in his last 11 games he shot 42% from 3 scoring 20.5 ppg and pulling down 7.5 rpg. He is definitely heading in the right direction which is great to see.

That is his draft express profile if anyone is interested. Good read to learn more about him. To me this is like getting one of those 2nd round picks back when we traded up for Diallo. IMO we basically traded up and give up nothing. Definitely has the talent to be a 2nd round pick. Didn't realize he was just 22 years old.

He looks like a lefty OJ Mayo. If he could give us his those kind of numbers that would be fine by me(just without the headaches and drug use lol) I really hope this kid makes the team. I don't know what it is about lefties, but they seem to always have a sweet looking stroke.

    C: Asik, Ajinca, Diallo
    PF: AD, Jones, DC
    SF: Hill, QPon, Gee
    SG: Buddy, Moore, Dawson
    PG: Jrue, Galloway, Frazier

That would be a nice 15 man roster.

So who else we have in camp? Robert Sacre & Chris Copeland

He looks bigger and its nice he is shooting a better 3pt percentage. That is the kind of youth and upside I like at the end of the bench. I just hope if we move Treke we get something for him. Change the centers to Monroe and Asik and looks great.

What a move by Dell just doing what he does! Traded up to get Diallo without giving up anything!

This isn't a Diallo thread doe?

    Random

Oh yes I totally forgot about Tyreke lol? I thought I forgot someone in that depth chart. I hope after a couple games we ship him off. 3 team trade:

    Pelicans: Greg Monroe

Bucks: Tyreke Evans & Rodney Stuckey (they don't need Monroe, but need some guard depth for sure)

Pacers: Omer Asik & Tyler Ennis (all they have is Al Jefferson at center, so they could use a defensive center big time)

Interesting to note that Shawn Dawson has been mentioned on the Pelicans website as a signing but Copeland and Sacre are not.

Maybe Dawson will be guaranteed once Tyreke is traded?

    Huh?

I think this guy will be what most people have said. A camp body. I don't question his athleticism or his somewhat good ball handling skills but his IQ is a bit suspect and will be the reason he is only a camp body. That and his hustle.

I think he meant by getting a 2nd round talent (in his opinion) in Dawson it cancelled out the 2nd given up to move up to draft Diallo.

A stretch but not so random.
It's that the Hornets unashamedly quit so quickly in Game 4 after fans in New Orleans showed up this season with greater regularity than the team could have ever dreamed, shaming misinformed know-it-alls like me who kept telling you that local residents couldn't possibly invest their time and money into something as trivial as rooting for the local basketball team while still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. - Mark Stien ESPN
