Pelicans Pelicans vs Kings - Game Day Thread

Excited to see if Buddy can start tonight where he left off. Diallo has been a surprise with his consistency and let's hope tonight is no different. Not much excitement on this roster outside of those two but they are all I need. Anyone interested in any other players? Sadly no one has even given me a second thought to be on our team. Would love to see Frazier run with our two picks. Go Pels!!

Like this matchup for Diallo. Should be a decent test going against Cauley-Stein.

Well Hield already with a deflection. Early on looks more locked in on defense.

Hield really moves his feet on D.

    Love seeing that.

Oh nvm. They listed Minnerath as a starter but it's not him, it's McMorrow.

    It's on ESPN 2.

They can't make any space so Buddy forced a shot. Nice to see on the next possession he passes off that. Unfortunately Diallo ain't ready for 12-16ft jumpers yet.

Got two assists for Hield so far at least.

Even though Diallo hasn't made his shots I do like his shooting form. He's also showing good awareness finding his spots to take his shots. With as broken as his form was said to be it looks very good since he has rebuilt it. I think he is going to have a very good mid range game once he gets that muscle memory down.

He could of had an easy lay up if the big saw him running ahead of everyone

Frazier get your *** on the floor! Man I really want to see Buddy and Diallo play with a PG like him. We might be undefeated if he was playing.

I wanna see Diallo put one on floor. See how much ground he can cover in a single bounce then rise.

I like that Diallo keeps trying out his jumper, even if it isn't going in.
Hey @okcthunder - you guys suck! Our top players are hurt. Some are dead. Some don't even like basketball. And we still kicked y'all's asses!- @TheFakeMonty

I think Buddy's most underrated part of his game is going to the hoop. With his strength and athleticism he's going to be a very good finisher in the NBA. More space in the NBA should help him going to the hoop as well.

Feels like they may have told diallo to take the jumpers maybe to get used to pick and pop
