If you Jimmer it, they will come.
They've had three workouts so far. Last one was Wednesday morning. Mostly lower rated guys on the fringes of being drafted according to the last Draft Express Mock.

Who were they? I believe Peter Jok, Isaiah Cousins and ???
I checked NOLA.com, the Advocate, Draft Express, and everywhere else, and I can't find the prospects who visited.
That's correct. Many prospects who have visited have tweeted their arrivals at every stop, except when they were scheduled to arrive in New Orleans. It's by design for better or worse.
Why does this Organization tries so hard to keep everything a secret? Can this benefit us in the future?

First was SF Peter Jok. Before the draft. He went back to college.
After the lottery there were AJ English and Isaiah Cousins (both PG).
And Troy Williams.
That is all what I have heard.
Right now there are kind of "combines" where some draft prospects are combined together with other 30 teams watching them. Agent X combines his clients to showcases their strenghts...
Expect top prospects to visit NO soon.
Personalny expect even Bender to visit NO.
Cal's Jaylen Brown scheduled group workout w/MIN, MIL, TOR, maybe LAL Saturday, source says. Expected to workout at BOS, NO, & PHX next week

I know Brown has serious upside if he learns to shoot and make better decisions with the ball, but that's a lot to ask. Hard pass.
I don't that is a lot to ask. Really, almost it's required of a lottery pick. Especially a potentially high lottery pick.
Otherwise, the best he could ever become is a much, much more athletic and bigger Tony Allen.
Sometimes you roll the dice. If the draft breaks down weirdly, he might be worth a shot. But it'll be uncharacteristic of this team. But then, keeping the pick that isn't the #1 pick is uncharacteristic.
He is not a top choice of mine.
Best case for me will be if someone takes him 3-4.
But it is smart to at least take a look.
It is smart for him to visit even 10th team in the draft.
Heard that he is high IQ guy. It is not BIQ. But still...
Jaylen Brown is a really smart kid for damn sure. He's not an idiot. I think he will be a really good player once he puts everything together. He's my 6th favorite prospect, so if everyone is gone by 6 I hope we take him over Dragan Bender. But I think one of the 3 guards will be there, if not 2 of them. The more I've looked at him the more I like him. He's moved ahead of Bender to make my top 6:
1. Ben Simmons
2. Brandon Ingram
3. Kris Dunn
4. Buddy Hield
5. Jamal Murray
6. Jaylen Brown
Honestly player workouts mean nothing anymore to me. Pels are just doing their due diligence. I'll probably get more excited if they "raved" about certain players, but knowing this organization, everything is smoke screens now. Judging by Dell Demps, Benson, and MM I'm still expecting a junior/senior to get drafted. The last project/freshman we drafted was Austin Rivers in 2012.
Agree.
Dell has his own ranking. Workouts probably does not matter in top6. Maybe in 10-20 range.
Those meeting are more the ability to talk with players and his agents.
And smoke screens to other franchises...
Glad to see Brown coming in for a workout. If Hield and Dunn are gone I would love to grab him. I would be happy if we took him over them but I have him behind those 2. I liked Murray a lot but I just think I gamble on Browns potential but that's a tough one.
