He is definitely a ball stopper. When he passes it is either to get it right back if they don't shoot or dribble the clock down for a forced shot when he passes. This style will work sometimes but is not a recipe for winning.

It's hard when the PG at the point of attack does not stay in front of his man. This breaks everything down for the defense. Good defense starts with stopping the ball up front. All of that speed is useless when he can't stay in front of anybody.
