One good thing to hold out hope for is Thibs will most likely be coaching next year. Just pray it is a team without a good center and he will make a move for Asik. I think once he gets in shape his value will go up a little so the right coach and system mite value him enough to atleast take him for nothing. Would be nice to get value in return but I wouldn't mind just getting the $ off the books. Also wouldn't be a bad move for Thibs since the contract will be a year shooter and the $ is not as bad as it seems under the new cap. It's hard to look at the contracts now because I was so use to the #s under the old cap.
