    Well a lot of AD's injuries have been him hitting the floor after getting pushed while in the air. The more he weighs and the stronger his core, the more control he will have over his body to avoid those freak accidents like with his shoulder. Idk what kind of source I would find on this, but in my mind it is general conditioning knowledge that a strong core helps you reduce injury risk.

    Also, the muscles add padding to the bones and IF the strength coach is a good one he'll also be strengthening stabilizer muscles

    This. It's going to go a long way beyond just AD being stronger.

    He hits the floor a LOT. I'm in favor of anything that keeps him upright.

    AD is about 2 inches taller than Zo.
