    Pelicans Good news! The center hung video board @ SKC has been removed.

    I went to the SKC last night for the OutCry tour last night and I noticed the center hung video board was completely gone. The ceiling looked bare. Looks like they maybe installing the new video board soon. Just wanted to give the update.

    Check the Cole threads. I think one of them is still unlocked. I should also note those video boards on the ends of the 300 level were still there untouched. I don't see many events at the SKC in August so I'm guessing soon the boards will be built and go up.

    They take it down all the time - it takes a couple hours to remove and reinstall - I've seen it sitting in the tunnel behind the bleachers for other events.

    Well according to what was reported a few months ago, hopefully this was the last time they take that one down. The timing makes sense. Pre-season is here in a mere two months.

    No. I just checked.My source who works at Dome told me it is gone for good after the last Voodoo game. Installment begins on new board when it comes in sometime in August.

    They have never torn down ( other than ASG)the video boards my source tells me. You may have seen the pieces of the boards that were installed on exterior as part of the renovation.

    Sounds like it will be similar to the one Houston. If you go to the Smoothie King Center website I think there is an image somewhere on the site of what it will look like in arena.

    And we will have new hd broadcast cameras and not the old sd ones we've been using. The games will look a lot better on tv now
