    Honestly 27 million per year will be a bargain especially if the NBA gets rid of the max cap on contracts at the next CBA.

    Your probably right. There will probably be another lockout which will lead to more favorable financial terms for players. If Garnett can bank $400, AD probably will hit $500+.

    Great news. The idea of signing a contract as an individual that nets you 27-29 million a year must be pretty mind blowing, no matter what age you are.

    he New Orleans Pelicans and Anthony Davis, on the first day possible, have agreed to terms on a mammoth contract extension that should become the league's richest when it goes into effect, according to league sources.

    Sources told ESPN.com that the Pelicans and Davis have agreed to a five-year extension estimated at nearly $145 million that will kick in starting with the 2016-17 season and run through Davis' 28th birthday.
