Why has Searching Been Disabled?

I am looking to find the thread from when we hired Monty to see what the narrative was then, but when I go to search I get a message saying that the search has been disabled.

Are the illuminati trying to hide something...oh ****, I said too much. My conscience is clear.

We switched our search from the standard vbulletin one to a google based search for purposes of controlling the size of our database and improving functionality (or something like that, I'm not very well read on the technical side of things). Unfortunately that means that if you use an ad-block making it so you can't see the ads, you're also not able to use the search functionality. It's a google thing.
