    Lakers dealing 2nd overall pick?

What trade package would you put together to get it, if you thought it would help us?

I'd throw them Gordon, Asik and future pick.

    Then take Towns.

Impossible for us. They would want Davis only and we would clearly say no.

Yeah. We have nothing really to offer.

Best chance is to get in on the action, make it a 3 team deal.

I would love that, but the Lakers would absolutely say no, they are getting gordon, and over priced player about to be a free agent, asik who is decent, and a future 1st which will most likely be towards the end of the 1st because the Pels are on their way up in the league.

It has been rumored they are waiting to see if Sacramento wants to deal Cousins.

Dell can get in on a 3-team and get us our next Qpon.

So you are saying they would take a guy who they could sign in free agency, a guy who we have for years been open about wanting to trade, and a pick that will likely be in the 20s over Towns or Okafor?

I mean I'd be down for sure but the Lakers on the other hand......

You're right...jrue or Tyreke and 2 1st rounders will probably be what it takes. Not sure if it's worth giving all that up for Okafor. If Towns slips though I'd make that trade on draft night.

    Never said they'd TAKE it.
Just saying that's all I'd offer.

Who's to say Towns or Okafor will be NBA players in a few years, whereas Asik is a starting center and would maintain his bird rights.

Lakers have always been adamant about winning NOW.

The upside of an Okafor or Towns is a potential star, something LA never leans away from and something that Asik will never be.

TE, RA, EG and future 1 but they won't bite, even if we take junk back.

They need to stay and take a big or EM. Can't go wrong with either

I thought Asik was a free agent? I guess you are assuming we will re-sign Gordon and Asik?
