Never mind, I forgot to not take anything ESPN report serious. I'll wait for the right guys to confirm the real news.
In other words, we figured out another person that Dell has spoken with.
This is the point where we remember what McNamara said. Dell has interviewed a LOT of people. I'm guessing Skiles may want his name out there for the Pelicans job as leverage in negotiation with the Magic.
If we actually were close to hiring Skiles, I'd be a little concerned. As of now, I'm not worried.

Which puts it a bit into context and looks like he was already interviewed.
Have to imagine if word out of Orlando is he will be announced coach this week that the reception wasn't too warm.

ESPN.com reported earlier Wednesday that the Bulls, unable to generate any interest on the compensation front, are giving increasing consideration to simply firing Thibodeau to bring an end to their highly successful but oft-contentious partnership over the past five seasons.
I'm panicking.
Still don't want Thibodeau. Maybe I'm being foolish, but he still makes me nervous. Would definitely prefer JVG over him.
While I don't doubt that we did interview him, I'm confident that this news was leaked by Skiles's side. They are close to signing with Orlando, and I believe he's using this floating rumor as leverage. No reason to panic about this.

Skiles also has a longtime admirer in the New Orleans organization in Pelicans general manager Dell Demps, who played for Skiles when he coached in Greece.
So now everyone knows there is a connection between Demps and Skiles.
Could just mean that Dell gave him an interview as a personal favor.

MM's said all along that if we knew all the candidates that have been interviewed/considered, it would make our head spin. I fully believe the timing of this has more to do with Skiles to Orlando than anything else. He wants this news out there right now.
