So maybe he wants to play for Hoiberg and is hearing it's coming down to us, Chi-Town, and staying at Iowa State?
I like it. If it's cheap enough I'd let him play all home and division games.

My guess is also that he wants to be with Hoiberg. Who was his favourite coach who help him at Iowa.
Which means that Hoiberg in NO is still probable...
Probably firstly it will be only for the Summer League, where we play in one place. Then maybe for the season. Baby steps.

it is not the White hype. it is talented guy who we might have try in the summer league. low risk middle reward IMO.
who has got a good history with candidate for our HC job. in this case and only in this case it may work out.

Yeah SL is fine. But it's being portrayed like he's some big FA picking between teams. These guy has done absolutely NOTHING in the NBA. I don't think it's anything to get excited about. He hasn't even shown he can be a useful player.
If he signs with us maybe that means we land Hoiberg, great that would be nice. But as a player hard to get excited about anything until he's made a team and plays every game.
Royce white has tremendous skills, he is just like a boris diaw and could be very useful. He can defend, excellent passer, etc. Only problem is his head.

I agree. He has some issues, but he is a talented player. He did it all at ISU.

or he could be Michael Beasley.
He's a better athlete than Diaw so there's that, it's a fair player comparison.
