Who would've been traded to acquire Batum?
Sign & trade. Asik & Cunningham (I think Kaman walks)Possibly Lopez,also.Asik could start in Portland. Aldredge, Matthews & Lillard are the ballhogs.Portland's #5's were atrocious rebounding.Batum ($11,000,000)is an expiring in 16.They have to pay Aldredge this year & Lillards rookie contract (RFA) is 16-17,which means they pony up this summer and extend or TAKE A CHANCE! Aldredge will max,Lillard will max.Batum may be odd man out.Try & get something for him now,before he walks next year.

So you expect us to trade EJ this offseason? Because Carroll is going to cost around 12m. Ryno and another piece works too but I don't see why you would have Gordon coming off the bench.

If we hire a defensive minded coach, his first priority will be to tell Dell that Gordon has to go IMO
I agree. Plus Reke has ideal size for the sg position his true position IMO. Also going to free up some money to resign Asik or another center.
