    Pelicans In other news Tyreke Evans had knee surgery today

    Evans becomes the third Pelicans' player to undergo surgery this month. Starting small forward Quincy Pondexter underwent surgery on his left kne and point guard Jrue Holiday had a surgical procedure performed to remove a screw implanted in his surgically repaired lower right leg on May 6.

    Last year, Holiday had surgery to implant a steel rod in his right tibia after suffering a stress fracture.

    Evans suffered a deep bone bruise in his left knee during Game 1 of the Pelicans' first-round playoff series against the Golden State Warriors last month, but he returned to play in the final three games.
    Sounds like everything went well. Hopefully he is ready for fall camp in September.
