I just saw this... just wow. If we get anyone other than Thibs i'm not very happy.
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

He received the dreaded vote of confidence. He was doomed.
I'd bet Dell is also gone.
I hope he lands on his feet. Great guy middle of the pack coach. The guys ALWAYS played hard for him.
Salute!
NEW ORLEANS
There is NO place like Home!
or he now has full control...
Stunning move for Pelicans, where GM Dell Demps has his way now. Williams improved each season as coach, led franchise to playoffs. Stunning

DOES ANYONE think this will affect AD ? I know its a business, but he's a young guy who loved his coach ! THOUGHTS?
They have to have something planned. AD and Monty always seem really close in interviews and articles. But in order to make AD want to stay, they HAVE to be up to something big. Right? Like... right?
Welp... I know alot of folks here are happy but I feel bad for the dude. I wish him luck.
Just saw it onFacebook
I'm kind of worried about how it looks to potential candidates that Benson sent out a vote of confidence something like 2 weeks ago and now this happens
If they don't have a clear upgrade in mind, this move was pointless. I'm interested to find out if Dell stays.
The most overused words on Pelicansreport.com. Wrongly, I might add.
ELITE - (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.
GREAT - notable; remarkable; exceptionally outstanding
These words should not be used lightly
