Well... our baby Pelicans will get their playoff feet wet Wednesday

a win-or-go-home game in front of the SKC crowd vs. the defending champ Spurs who are clearly in playoff mode and are fighting for a division title & the West's #2 seed... a loss to us could make them the 6 seed

    HERE. WE. GO.
"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin

should I mention the SKC is where streaks came to die this season?

I would mostly like to focus on the win over the Hawks here in the SKC

won't mention other streaks that ended there

This needs to be a true sellout! House rocking!

Tonight the guys got win #44. According to the preseason line established by the experts, 43 wins was/is the under/over benchmark. We have exceeded the over and in my opinion achieved as much as I thought was possible to grow in one year. 10 more wins than last year. We all want the win Wednesday, and will be disappointed if we come up short, but we exceeded the expectations of the experts and the guys deserve recognition for their improvement. GO PELL's

Talk about uber-conspiracy: Pop/Spurs Mail Game In Wednesday (he is very close to Monty). Shreveport - I mean, OKCity would go crazy.

Spurs are on an 11 game winning streak... So, the odds are in our favor to lose one against us.

Or at least a sell-out by the time Jeff Duncan leaves the SKC which would be around 6:25

Pop knows that montys job could very well rest in his hands... However he has a job to do and I fully expect spurs to come out playing their best against us.

Anyone remember the last time we played the Spurs in a must-win home game?

A W tomorrow would be as sweet as any we've had in a long time.

I think we can def compete with this Spurs team. We will need a huge game from AD but more importantly we need our role players to step up and make some big plays. This has to be a complete team win as we've ever seen. Man it's be sweet to get this W against this Spurs team with so much riding on it for both teams.

In the top 3 of painful sports losses I've experienced as a fan. A win would some sweet vindication.

    Never forget.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

This is THE game where we will prove we belong in the playoffs. We have to play our game. We have the team to win this. It won't be handed to us. Players like Cole, qpon, Gordon and Anderson are going to be the Xfactor here. AD can lead here. This is his shot. That's how I see it. It's going to be like Brees Payton... Monty, AD, and Gordon. Gordon is going to finally do what he's being paid to do. We are going to beat the crap out of the SPURS.

Each team nominates their Star player and reserve for the calls. everyone else continues to get mauled.

I can't help but think of how sweet it would be to have Thunder fans all but certain their team will be in since we take on the Spurs, and then dash those hopes by pulling the upset! I'm just hoping that the Smoothie King Center is electric on Wednesday. This is the biggest game we've had there since Chris Paul was still on the team.
