Yes, that one possession was very goofy. But he has been used on 5 offensive possessions and scored 8 points. Let's calm down with the exaggeration. He has serious flaws, but if you stand back and look at the big picture, he has a positive impact. We just remember the goofy plays and take for granted the good ones. So, it seems like the goofy ones are the norm. But clearly, they are not.

That Gordon three - Asik fought for the offensive board right before that and we got an extra possession because he got fouled. Won't show up in his box score. Then, a block by him. Then, a jam.
Will never get mentioned here, so I figured I would. The second he does something goofy, though, 10 posts will ensue.

I'm completely fine with what Asik is giving us.
But like I said the other day, if he was as good offensively as he is defensively (and as bad defensively as he is offensively) this board would love him.

I think people really just don't remember how bad Stiemsma was. I do, so I don't mind Asik. He's 10x better.
A pity I can't watch this game but...duty calls.

Cole really struggling
Man Asik really kills our spacing. Every time he touches the ball if it's not in layup range his guy just camps like 5' away from him. I realize if he could shoot then he would be on a different level but he needs to at least take a damn shot every once in a while even if he misses. I have seen this all season of course but for some reason this game it is very obvious with Olynyk nowhere near him when he touches the ball. He should be working on his shot near the rim 90% of his time in the gym.
