Yep go portland. Even though I think it's futile. I think Dallas isn't going to free fall enough in 20 games for us to catch Them. They are 6 games ahead with 20 games left. best case scenario they go .500 and then we would have to go 18-3 because they win the tiebreaker.
I thought maybe they would go sub .500 but it looks like they aren't in the free fall I had hoped.

Dallas has 26 games left & their schedule is BRUTAL! Truly!
They are 40-22. That leaves 20 games.
Looking at Dallas's schedule. Best case scenario they drop all games against playoff teams(unlikely) and they go 8-12.
But given that their next stretch of tough games come at home and they get at least a days rest I think they win at least one of those tough games no question.

I don't know if anyone is watching the Dallas and Blazers game but that Matthews injury may be more than just an ankle.. While he was down I saw him grab the back off his heel area, then they showed the slow-mo and it looked like it might be an Achilles injury

Even if the Pelicans do not make the playoffs, this season, they should be looked as the better team next year over San Antonio and Dallas. Those two teams are getting old and the Pels will hopefully be healthier and better.

That's axiomatically an ignorant statement. At first, he stated that the injury may be worse than first appeared. I agreed, but there was concrete evidence. Then they showed the slo- mo him being double armed off the floor w/ no pressure on his foot . Then it was stated that the locker trainer came out shaking his head in disgust. Your statement was made out of sheer ignorance ! I've had shoulder surgery, finger surgery & abdominal surgery! I wish good health & Godspeed to everyone .

Dallas has 19 games left now. If they were to somehow go 9-10 over their remaining games, Pelicans would still have to go 16-5 over their last 21. Doesn't sound very likely.
Probably not a good thing he is down. We are not catching Portland so it is better for them to beat up on other teams for us and not give them wins.
That nikola kid is good, a better all around game than RA.
