    Don't forget about Boston.

I'm not renewing until he's gone. Nothing will change.

this is the stretch the pels needed to get a good spot in the race for 8th place, we go 2-3 and play some ugly *** basketball

Just out of curiosity, what do the NOLA sports network radio hosts have to say about the Pels? No offense, but isi it as bad as this board? Do they talk about how useless Ryno is if he isn't hitting his shots? Or how awful of coach Monty is? Or just how pathetic this WLWLWL trend is? Oh, and I saw Eman said in the gameday thread that he thought Wesley sounds like he'd be a good coach. I was able to catch few games with a free XM trial, and I thought the same thing. And I also loved him as a player.

obviously their isn't as big a reaction as on this board, there is a lot wrong with this team it isn't just one thing, but everyone is of the opinion that he has been part of the problem and most agree he isn't going to be able to retain his job. Everyone knows how bad ryan has been, look at the stats, career low rebounding, worst big defender in the league (literally) and career low from 3. No one can figure out the WLWL trend tho i have seen nothing on that

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I said the thought has crossed my mind that Wesley sounds like he'd be a good coach once or twice when he provided some quality insight into the team.

Let's not be firing that gun and saying Eman shot ya. That's how Biggie Smalls died.

Far as I know, there is no real show dedicated to Pelicans basketball. If so it might be once per week. The Saints otoh, are talked of daily.

Going without consecutive wins in a month is mind blowing.

106.1 Sports Hangover is the best you'll find locally, and they are just tired of repeating themselves over and over regarding Monty and the team in general. It's a broken record, and it's not fun for anybody, including the local radio hosts. 105.3 has the worst NBA coverage for being the flagship station. They can't even give us an after show that allows the fans to feel involved.

I mean, what happened to that Gerry V show post-game? Is that still a thing?

Hell, what happened to Gerry V in general?

He was let go. He's on TV in the AM not doing as much sports.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I'm sorry but the loss to Philly and now the Knicks? There are literally no more excuses we can conjure up to keep Monty at this point.

it doesn't matter that it isn't all his fault, he is part of the problem and doesn't look to be part of the solution

Does Anthony Davis stay in New Orleans if they fire his coach?

"His" coach? AD didn't pick Monty. Does he like Monty? Probably. Does he want to win more? Definitely.

um if we start winning after we do? yes. I don't give a damn if he likes him I'm tired of people using this a reason to not fire him, his job isn't to be liked by our best player.

I blame Chris Paul for that even being a fear people have.

Myself sorta included. In fact, a host on a radio show I used to do often said that Team USA and the 2016 Olympics was why we'd never fire Tavares. Like having his old coach be part of his Olympic squad would interfere or whatever.

But winning cures all. If the team falls apart after we bring in whoever to replace Tavares, it could drive him away. But no guy off a rookie contract takes the qualifying offer. That's leaving MILLIONS on the table. AD is gonna be a $20mil+ player very soon. And much deserved.
