Nate Wolters close to signing 10 day deal with Pelicans

Pelicans, I'm told, are zeroing in on PG Nate Wolters for 10-day deal after Wolters cleared waivers earlier today following release by Bucks
I remember him doing pretty good things for the Bucks in his time though. Could be a solid pickup.
I actually like his game. He was Jommer after Jommer left BYU. Scoring pg, on a bad college team.
Consider me on board with Del's latest finding.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
I have a SG on NBA 2k15 MyCareer. I'm on the Bucks. Nate Wolters is a good teammate. And... that's all I got.
I mean whatever. If they think he is a better shooter than Mekel ok. He has kinda been a bad shooter but he does have starter experience.
I guess he got the boot from the rotation, but in low minutes he looks bad this season.
Since he only has limited exposure this season, I won't kill him on that. Good news is that he's only 23.
Career Ast% of 22 (over Rivers' 16.3 and Jimmer's 16.5)
Val ovr Replacement of -.6 (Rivers -1.8, Jimmer -1.2)
TOV % 11.5 (Rivers 12.7, Jimmer 13.5)
He's only taken 18 threes in his career.
Seems like what he is, a replacement level player. Which is actually an upgrade on our current backup guard play. Nothing to get too excited about though.
Maybe Dell really believes in jimmer.. Wilter a just seems like a stopgap until Jrue is back 100%

I'm about as excited for this move as I am for the rest of the season. Last night just about killed any optimism I had left for the season.

Taller, more athletic jimmer. Not as much swag however
He led the NCAA in scoring (so for all intents an purposes he is a scoring pg), and he is only going into his second season.
If we are lucky we just picked up a nice asset to ride the pine and give us some looks that Freedett hasn't.
This is a win win for us.

I think he is a legit NBA player. Instantly becomes out best guard finisher at the rim, but I was expecting them to target a different skill set with Tyreke dominating the ball so much.
