I can see someone overpaying for him. The big sticking point with the guy though is the fouls. It's like Ajinca. If they both could cut down on the fouls, shore up the mental side of the game, they could be 36 minute players in this league IMO. Right now though whiteside is sort of crapshoot from game to game because his fouls make him unreliable.

Man this is really bothering me now how easily he could have been a Pelican with Davis. He makes Davis look like an ok shot blocker. I have been watching all of his games and the one today just wow. This kid is going to go down as one of the best shot blockers ever. What he has just can't be taught just like Davis. Could you imagine having these 2 in the lane? I think together they could hold hands with one grabbing the rim and the other touching the 3 or line around the whole semi circle.
