Josh Smith at the 3 would be a great addition BUT if Josh don't make 3's, BUT.... we need 3's.... BUT.... NO JOSH HERE

Not at all, but I'd rather him take 3s than Josh Smith.

Maybe I'll change my tune if we could get him for under $5M, but he's NOT a sf & we're good at the 4.

Holy crap he still had 3yr/40m on his contract.

We can't offer him more than vet minimum but he is already getting 13.5m. The question is, does he consider us enough of a playoff contender to come here? I dunno.

Strange. Not sure why you would do this mid-season unless he was really just awful in the locker room.

We can only offer him the minimum, right? So there's no chance he would entertain coming here over a contender.

I'm guessing he signs a deal for the rest of the season, then does FA again in the summer? He would be a very interesting MLE target.

If he clears waivers, what's the chance a small bidding war erupts for him? My guess is he returns to Atlanta or goes to Houston and teams up with his old HS buddy Dwight Howard.

Only way I take him is on a minimum deal -which is all we can offer. Even then, we have our version in Dante, and he's been much much better. Dude is automatic from midrange while Josh Smith is a brick layer.

    This.

BTW, your Christmas movie with Harold sucked. I demand a refund.

Very low chance Dell makes a serious push for him and very low chance he would choose here.

Dallas makes ALOT of sense and can play him at more PF where he is at his best. Clippers also make sense.

I'd put our odds at 0.1%.

Would be fun for blocks with Ad, but it would be an nba2k starting five.
Reke/ Smith would be very very terrible for spacing.

I can see him going to Huston

Anyone that wants Josh Smith doesn't watch basketball. He is a bum.

    Please Houston!

That way 2 of our division rivals will have sacrificed their teams for 2 players that USED to be great but are now.

    .........meh.

    Amazing.

Marc stein is reporting the 2 front runners are Kings and Mavs. No need to even discuss josh smith bc it will absolutely never happen under any circumstances or scenario. Better shot at aquring Michael Beasley or Tracy Mcgrady at this point.

Why would SVG not have done this?
