This would be a great debate. Babbit has looked really good lately.

He's an upgrade over Salmons, though...

I think Garcia is a better defender than Babbitt (slightly... at this point in his career) but Luke has earned his minutes.

Definitely an upgrade over Salmons though

If we're somehow dumping salmons and replacing him with garcia I'd do it in a heartbeat.

This is who we should go after. Vet minimum, and he can come off the bench and replace Babbitt. Similar production.

He's not better than Babbit. Babbit fills a niche with his shooting

He's better than salmons for sure.

Not babbitt though. He's a lot younger and is shooting nearly 50% from 3.

I think Slim meant replace Babbitt when Babbitt is starting, not replace him altogether.

    He doesn't fill a need. We need a 3 and D...and a backup PG.

Is he really better than what we already have? I mean, is he REALLY better than any player already on the roster? Or do we just remember him hitting a few 3s or whatever whenever we seem to play against him? Salmons was that way...

their bench is worse than ours and he couldnt get minutes. thats all that needs to be said

Right! Let Babbitt start, and then when he comes out, Garcia can come in and give us a similar game.

Babbitt contributes, but less than an average NBA player. WP48 = 0.038. Garcia costs his team wins, on the other hand. WP48 = negative .076. He scores less, rebounds less, but with slightly more blocks and steals. So far this year, three point percentage less than 25%, free throw percentage = 25%. Horrible. Last year he had better percentages, but still not any better than Babbitt. He is not an upgrade there. Salmons (believe it or not) is not much different from Babbitt.

Don't need Garcia IMO. Wait for someone better to be available......

Wouldn't mind him. Couldn't really be worse than Jimmer or Salmons. However, I think Babbitt and Cunningham have done enough to earn their minutes.

He's a good defensive player and 3 point shooter ( However he had some shooting issues this season ) He can be useful . He's clearly an upgrade over salmons...
