Like seriously if thats all they want for Rondo I know we can get Jeff Green. Didn't Danny like Rivers and Withey is a shot blocker that they need.

Do we really need Green though? Can we just let this current bunch figure things out? Not being pissy either im asking a serious question. Our current bench is getting better and better every game and chemistry is starting to flow alittle, why should we mess that up right now? I like Rivers hustle and energy from the bench. And Withey is becoming a good big body of the pine also.

The Boston Celtics are in the process of finalizing a deal to send Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks, according to league sources.
Sources tell ESPN.com that the Celtics and the Mavericks have an agreement in principle to send the All-Star point guard to Dallas for Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson and a future first- and second-round draft pick.
Gordon, Rivers, and Ajinca for Green, Wallace, James Young, and two 2nd's.
Stretch Wallace next year if need be or would that be pointless given their salary difference is the MLE?

Personnel wise, it makes them a good bit better in their starting lineup. Good news for us is we might be able to pry Jeff Green out their hands now that they've gotten a 1st rounder from Dallas already.
