Isn't he his manager too and I know him and AD are real close.
I'd be pretty upset at my brother for posting things that could affect my livelihood.
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I get that people think Monty should be fired, but just seems like odd timing to say it after a win.
Even though I respect his brothers(he has multiple of them who support him dearly and what not) Because of their dedication to Tyreke I'm like...Who?...Yeah, exactly. We've had enough brother bull before, i.e. CJ Paul...
R.I.P. to HunnyB/FlyGirl
I wouldn't expect anything less from Tyreke's camp. Not trying to fan the flames, but only a Tyreke fanboy would think Monty is holding him back. There are plenty of opportunities for Tyreke to "get his" within the offense. But "getting his" within a cohesive offense has always been a problem for him, especially since his lack of shooting limits his options. BUT, as much as I dislike Tyrekes play this season, this isn't all on him. I'd be afraid to pass the ball and run the offense, too, if I new I was never gonna get it back. Not counting an inbounds passes or passes in the back court, We hardly ever make more than 2 passes after initiating a set. No trust. Thats not on the coach.
Tyreke can be special at times so this is very frustrating. I hope it is just his brother drinking too much.
Trust is somewhat on coaching though IMO. Not fully, no, but somewhat.
What you have to wonder though is if you are willing to believe this statement is occurring in a vacuum. Because logic tells me that if Evans was happy his brother wouldn't feel frustrated to the point of publicly stating it on Twitter. I don't think it is easy to dismiss the possibility that this is shared in some capacity by Evans. Not that anyone has suggested that yet but I feel it is probably coming.
I think the low turnovers are a product of not passing as much. Every coach wants to minimize turnovers, but not at the expense of not getting good shots. The TO, in that case, is now just transferred to poor shot selection. We've seen plenty of that. This is where bball iq comes in to play. I don't know, but I'm guessing that Monty is probably stressing being in attack mode and striking quickly. He realizes this team has to play with some pace. What our guys need to be able to discern is... When do I attack and take what the Defense is giving me? Is there another option we can get that's better than this? That's alot to process in a few split seconds.
ETA: Tyreke, in my opinion, struggles the most with this followed by Ryno. Which kills me because, as specialists they can bend the D. If they could move the ball, confident that it would find them again, they have the potential to generate themselves a few extra looks.

To be honest everything I have read, seen and heard about monty recently is that he is emphasizing not having the ball stick, making that extra pass. Giving up a good look for a great one. But for whatever reason the message rarely seems to stick except in blowout wins.
If anyone really wanted to investigate a little further, it'd be interesting to know what was going on in the Clippers game at 10:18pm that prompted his SMH tweet.
This seems weird then because AD and Monty are extremely close.
I agree with N.O. Bronco that if a family member is publicly stating things its possible that there could be turmoil but if he is good friends with AD then I also think the same logic would apply because AD and Monty's relationship has been clearly documented.
I also remember the story a few years back where AD's family was really upset we drafted Nerlens because they didn't realize he was being traded until someone explained it.
Point being, sometimes family members have emotional responses to things that they only know part of the story about. Most people usually don't go home and tell stories about how awesome their boss is.
Just like everyone else....he's entitled to his opinion. But as for Tyreke, he's playing as hard as anyone else on the team. So, I don't think it's not a big deal
If Reke would at least make 70% of his easy buckets we won't be having this discussion.
