"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin

Rivers came in a ran the second unit held the ball for the whole shot clock and either made a pass that took to long to make or bricked a shot.

River had a LARGE role in our loss. Withey could have run the offense better.

This is actually good for Rivers. Monty wanted him at the 2 because he knew he couldn't run the offense, only problem was Jimmer couldn't either. I expect better play from Rivers with this signing.

Trying to blame a near 30pt loss on one backup bench player is INSANE.

He had a large role being our second point guard and being on the floor at the time we quickly gave up our lead. I don't think that would have happened with the Starting PG in there. The Quarterback always get more of the blame.

Great point. Some of us wondered why Monty stressed that prior to the season, well now we know why.

Except when our starters entered the game the defecit continued to increase.

ya rivers is a shooting guard, he attacks or shoots, i guess we fell in love the the big athletic PG approach like westbrook and rose. Copy cat league?
