Asik gets blocked on putback attempts

    Every.

    Single.

    Time.

I have never seen a 7-footer get his shot blocked more than Asik. I think he has had 6 of his shots blocked in last 1.5 games.

Austin rivers has no vision ..he breaks his man down then has no clue what to do with the ball . He committed a cardinal sin of picking up
His dribble without a pass or shot .
Dell Demps PLEASE get us some scorers!

He also gets fouled a lot but it doesn't get called.

I've been complaining about his inability to jump for a while now. If he doesn't have position he doesn't need to shoot the damn ball. Kills this team night in and night out.

All of our bigs except AD get blocked all the time going for dunks. And Ryno, but he never goes for dunks.

    Withey, Ajinca, Asik.

I dare someone to try to block Patric Young's dunk.

    Now Salmons thinks he's Kobe?

Withey has done nothing while in the game to deserve to get benched . He may not knows what he is doing but he makes plays and he hustles

There's isn't a player on the wizards team who can guard Evans, not one player

I don't understand why AD doesn't put any effort into blocks anymore. He seems like he doesn't care.

Tyreke's 3pt shot is regressing to the mean. Heh.

That's what Reke s good at. Playground type play
The most overused words on Pelicansreport.com. Wrongly, I might add.

ELITE - (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.

GREAT - notable; remarkable; exceptionally outstanding

These words should not be used lightly

    Asik is killing us

Asik is such a liabilty on offense that it significantly outweighs any benefit he may provide defensively. If I'm Dell Demps, I'm pulling the plug on the Asik experiment at year's end. We are playing 3-on-5 on offense with our current starting lineup, and I don't care to see an offensive black hole at center any longer. One year of Stiemsma, one year of Asik -- I've had enough!

Heh. Now there's a new definition of a black hole in basketball.

Comparing Asik to Stiemsma. I'm not even sure what to think of that.

I guess people thought Asik was the new Ashaq or Dwight Howard or something. A banger that would score about 15 points a game off deft post moves and the softest touch.

And that's when he's healthy. Let along fighting through back spasms.

Asik is doing exactly what he is supposed to do . He is playing well imom
