Agreed, I never wish injury, and gordon has been playing good. Hope he doesn't get hurt, plays well, and opts out, but i seriously doubt it.

7 million for 4 or 3 years is more money. It's a big long shot but not impossible. An injury is really the only way I say he 100% doesn't opt out.

But Ryno didn't miss the whole season. Do you mean once you get injured u miss the remainder of the season? I would expect a certain amount of games.

Injury-prone players find ways to be injured.
Just a quick search says anywhere from 10 days to 3+ months depending on the severity. It didn't look high impact, so hopefully it's just a few games.

Yes. The cut off time is in January. But if you are injured before then and are out for the season you can get the exemption. Doesn't sound like it will be possible with Gordon however. Separated shoulder should be a couple weeks.
