I think it's pretty clear that if AD isn't on the floor the team goes to **** very quickly. In order for us to win games he is going to have to stay out of foul trouble.

Why does Monty close out games with Ryno at the PF position? Its clear that he struggles in the post and doesn't rebound defensely. Teams can score with ease when he is in.

You know better than that. Don't play that game. Anderson is much more consistent, on the whole. He has also been nothing but positive since he got here. Great guy who had a very tough year last year. No question as to why he is a fan favorite.

Ryno's role is to be a shooter. We know he's a weak individual defender. Subpar defensive rebounder. Solid offensive rebounder.

Aside from the two terrible shots I saw him take personally, he's just been totally off. What more can we demand he do except keep shooting? He's not gonna beat anyone off the dribble from the 3pt line. And has two moves otherwise. Low post drive, spin move to reverse layup or turnaround jumper. He's a specialist.

Gordon's role on the team is more dynamic and involves more than just shooting. He's supposed to score, move the ball, defend, run the floor, give good effort. He hasn't been doing a lot of those things.


And he said his heart was in Phoenix. And most will never get over it. Plus there's his albatross contract we can't get out from under...

I get that. My post was more about the tone of the board about tonight's game. I agree with your post. My "fascination" with Gordon is about how every bad thing that the Pels go through, is some how Gordon's fault. There was a lot of awful basketball last night but all I see is Gordon this Gordon that so I'm just playing devil's advocate.

Third time down the floor. It reminds me of Janero Pargo in game 7 against the Spurs in 2008. I know they played a good defensive team tonight. But way to many open looks missed. Oh yeah forgot Luke Babbitt is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa. I disagree about Gordon. His offense hasn't been great but honestly I've loved his hustle & energy so far this season for the most part.

You're trolling obviously. Gordon is the devil and does nothing of any value for this team. As soon as he's gone, championship. Seriously though, I agree with your statement. He hustled hard and rebounded. When your shot isn't falling, do other things. That's what he did.

One of the lowest IQ players on this team is one of the most popular. Reke makes a lot of bonehead decisions and so does Jrue. This is a team-wide problem.

Big Al and AD combining for 50 ppg, Gay and Holiday combining for 30+, add a good 3 point shooter at the 2 spot (Thabo?) and just play out of the post all day instead of having these retards Gordon and Reke run into people in the post all day and not have any agility in the mid range.

So I was unable to watch the game and so that means all I have at the moment is the stats to go by.

What struck me the most was the inefficiency of our starters. Furthermore why Evans had the most attempts tonight? Again, I didn't get to watch so any context would be appreciated. But I noticed Davis went 3-3 in the fourth yet he only took shoots in the middle of the quarter and we seemed to run through a revolving door of players that had off nights getting all our late shots. Namely Ryno and Evans. Which at least with Evans seems to be a running theme to start the season. I am not liking this emerging trend of Evans trying to take over games and ignoring everyone else.
WAs it as bad as I am making it out to be??

Nah man. That ain't how it works. If our team has taught us anything it's that there aren't enough balls to go around. And that's with Asik.

We got all those players and it still would be the same story. Our team needs more time gelling. That's the biggest issue.

how was darius in his minutes? i couldnt watch the game but followed on twitter and i saw a lot of blasting of luke then checked the box score & saw two quick darius assists that cut the lead to 5 in the fourth

Would have liked to see if he could have made a 3pointer. Something as a team we couldn't hit for nothing. My guess is that he was in there for defense more than offense, because although Babbitt did miss shots his defense was poop.

Did you get to see the Dallas game? It was not like the offense was flowing through AD. Many of his shots were on put backs. We still need to get him in the center of the offense more IMO. I still haven't figured out our guard situation. The three just do not seem to gel together. Evans appears to want to be the PG. Gordon does not appear to be part of the offense.

I watched every second of the Dallas games and I think he was involved in the Dallas game more than any other. He probably attempted more jump shots in that game than the other 2. Got a little wreck-less going to the goal. Also remember Gordon was an 0fer that game, hard to get involved in the offense when you cannot do anything, he is getting some great looks/opportunities. Evans played a lot with the bench players that game, needs to change his role once the starters come back in but I don't think that means this team will not be good if Evans is our 2nd option on offense.
