Irrelevant. If I could I'd rather LeBron over Asik.

Then why are we even talking about Drummond?
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I can't answer why you ask me questions.

I was just wondering why we are talking about Drummond on an AD thread, when clearly we should be talking about Jimmer.

My DT quote should answer all your questions.

Was that from last year, or their rookie year?

  8. #33
Did anyone else notice that there was 0 national coverage of his 31 and 15? I found that bizarre since he's becoming an espn darling.

    Because we lost.

Well he still needs to learn how to create offense and be a guy we can run the offense through. I don't know how he's putting up the stats he does. Pure athleticism and basketball awareness at this point.

Lol. That was from right before USA BB this summer. Heck, might have been during.

It was a projection for how they would finish this year.

How many, "Kobe scores 25 in loss" headlines have we seen?

Also, I just noticed nba.com has us 20th in the Power Rankings. Worse than Brooklyn, Boston, and Atlanta.

AD doesn't have the public consciousness cache that Kobe does. The only way his exploits will be talked about is in victory or a once-per-season type of game.

You're absolutely right, I guess I'm just frustrated that an outside MVP candidate on a playoff contender gets far less coverage than someone who's neither. I guess I should be happy, I like the underdog role.

We might feel we are playoff contenders but national media doesn't yet. Not anywhere near majority.

Win and the praise will come.

Yeah so guess how even more unstoppable he's going to be when he starts making plays not just because of his athleticism and basketball awareness.

I must admit, being an underdog fan is normally way more fun (if the team is on the ascent of course)

This really bothers me... Sure he puts up great numbers but on how many shots... I mean Russell puts up crazy numbers too but takes crazy amounts of shots to get there too.

You would want to look at TS%, in that case. Davis should look pretty good with that since he has taken a bunch of free throws.

Here is how he ranks in the entire NBA.

    28.5ppg - 16rpg - 1.5apg - 6bpg - 2.5spg - 0.5 turnovers per game and only committing 1.5 fouls per game.

    3rd - points per game
    1st - rebounds per game
1st - offensive rebounds per game
    1st - blocks per game
    10th - steals per game
    1st - PER
    4th - turnover %
Sounds a lot like the rankings of the my career player that I created and hacked up to 99 overall rating in 2K.
