Would you make this trade? In honor of quail man

Quailman said I had to come up with a trade thread before the regular season started or it just wouldn't seem right on here, so here we go:

    Ryan Anderson for Draymond Green

Now here me out, I absolutely love Ryno, but he plays the same position as AD, and AD has stated he simply doesn't like playing the 5.

Draymond is a great defender, actually one of the best in the entire NBA. He has no holes defensively. He is lockdown on the perimeter and is a BULL in the post.

Offensively he has developed a 3pt shot but is also a playmaker with the ball in his hands and is a great passer.

Also is rebounding he is no slouch, he rebounds like a PF with his long arms and huge frame.

Warriors were reportedly interested in Ryno because they wanted a stretch 4 and already have 3 SF's in iggy, barnes and draymond.

This would also free up cap for us this offseason to go after a top dollar center like brook lopez or al jefferson, or we could resign Asik for a bit less than them and use that extra cash to replace some of Ryno's firepower off the bench.

    Jrue
    Tyreke
    Draymond
    AD
    Asik

Possibly the best defensive unit in the entire NBA.

Draymond will be good paid next summer
I may start thinking about any possible moves in the middle of season or having knowledge what season Draymond will have (and how many $$$$ he will earn)

Why would you trade for him?
If Gordon opts out we can offer him a reasonable contract next season.
GS have to also offer the max or close to the max for Klay Thompson and they won't be afford the max for both Green and Klay.

GS are already very close to the max in 2015/16:

    See for yourself:

I also started a very similar thread about who I believe Dell will target next year.....it happens to involve DG.

Even if he opts in, we can offer him a nice backloaded contract.

Don't think that would work.....GS could do the same.

The trade isn't even possible. Cant trade one guy making 8m for another making like 900k. Salaries gotta come much closer to matching.

I don't even know who Draymond Green is and I know a lot of NBA players names.

How much will Green demand in the open market?

It will sacrifice Pelican's biggest strength, it's frontcourt versatility

S & T in July 2015 at the earliest, with DG receiving 6-8 millions, but nobody in NO will do it...
