    Pelicans Gearing Up For The Pels In Shreveport/Bossier!!!

    Looking forward to tomorrow's game here in the Shreveport/Bossier City area. Tickets sales are going swimmingly. Sales have picked up a good bit this week as ads have been making a big push on the heels of tomorrow's tipoff. My wife and I represented the Shreveport/Bossier Sports Commission last week in my native New Orleans (lived here in Shreveport since Katrina) at the Rockets game at Smoothie King to promote this area and the game up this way. Should be quite an event! I'm especially excited to have the Pels here and even more so to be a spotter for the Pels radio broadcast. So, I'll have a courtside seat to see the crew ball out, albeit a preseason game against the Mavericks...GEAUX PELS!!!

    I got posted up by Austin Rivers during the VIP Party at Horseshoe Casino Riverdome tonight! Also took a photo with Omer Asik. Both were very cool and personable. Was a great night!

    I've never been to a Pels nor Hornets game, but I plan to go when they come here to Dallas this season. Decked out in my Pels gear.

    I hear ya. But, there are some folks kinda caught in the middle. Take Greg Stiemsma (please!) for example, he certainly is tall, but an NBA player? Enh, that's debatable.

    Pelicans in Bossier City! This is just totally surreal for us fans up here in the northwest corner of the great State of Louisiana! Here's hoping for a good crowd, a great night of NBA basketball, a win for our Pels and a return visit next preseason!!!!! GEAUX PELICANS! Can't wait for the game!

    I may have seen you perform if you did wedding receptions. I was a wedding videographer about town back in those days. Win or loose, we'll enjoy the game, but here's to a Pels win!

    Been to both several times. The scene now is at a place called Media Star. My son plays in a band that regularly plays there. It's a bit like Soundstage but better sound and a parking lot.
