    Quincy Miller released from Nuggets

I think he has good potential and is still young.

Very much so, I'll bet Quincy will look at our roster and see who he'll have to beat out for min at sf like.

In all seriousness though.....can they release Withey even though he has guaranteed money and sign another min salary guy?

Ain't happenin unfortunately. Reke is our starting 3, and Salmons/Darius are the backups.

Would love to sign Q. Miller rtho.

We need more depth at the SF.
If Evans goes down....do you want to rely on D. Miller or Salmons starting?

I'm not saying Q. Miller would do a better job, but if you look at our depth chart we have more C's then we need.

    Withey is expandable IMHO

Getting way too hyped from Quincy Miller Youtube videos.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

If they can find a spot for him for the vet min, i'm on board.

Also, that's how octopi talk. They squibber. Yes, it's a word. Shut up.

At minimum his size, length and age is why it's worth at least considering him. I mean he's younger than Rivers.

Alonzo Gee is the reason why Miller is out on the market. Should we have just kept Gee? The trade for Asik probably doesn't go through without releasing Gee, so it HAD to be done. But Gee wasn't terrible in Cleveland.

Now Miller is out there. I wish we'd at least take a look because Dell/Monty are fooling themselves if they think we are set with enough GOOD wings.

If we had Quincy Miller, and his horrible career so far, and some other team had Darius Miller or Luke Babbit and cut those guys, this board would be clamoring for those guys.

Grass is always greener. Heck, I saw people hoping for Robert Covington. This will happen all season. But the fact is that we have below average SF's and all that will become available for free is either below avg SF's. The SF's we have at least know the system, and in most cases, have produced far more.

The grass is not always greener.

Based on what? He HAS been worse than ALL of our options over his career.

It might be a surprise to some, but there are dozens of players in the league worse than Salmons and Babbitt. Not every SF who gets cut is better. They got cut for a reason.

And if I read 'But he is young and has potential' (aka, the Aminu defense), I am going to puke. We need a short term fix for this year. Not some guy who has been terrible so far that might be good in 3 years. IF he is good in 3 years, sign him then.

Okay, I am done. I promise. Rant over, carry on.

I blame the Denver altitude. Get that guy out of the altitude and it will all come together. You know how hard it is to play up there? NOLA is the spot for him to fulfill his promise!

Actually, I know nothing about the guy. Can he play DB? The Saints might be interested.
