i'm all for starting babbitt at the 3 and letting gordon come off the bench for offense like nick young. I think babbitt has at least earned a chance

My take aways from the game:
    The Good:

    • Starters killed it, save Gordon. Built up 30 point lead
    • Defense was nuts. Quite literally, an attempt in the paint was futile when starters were in. Wiz were 3-13 in the paint in the first half. That's 23 percent. Not to mention they only dared to take 13 shots in the paint. Davis and Asik were shutting down everything.
    • Speaking of Davis, jeez. 14/8/2 on 7-8 shooting in 21 min. Hurt his wrist a bit on a dunk attempt but said he is fine.
    • Rebounds rebounds rebounds. Davis, Asik, Anderson, and Tyreke were grabbing everything.
    • Tyreke Evans man. 10pts-5reb-7ast-5stl in 20 min. Looked good with the starters
    • Ryan Anderson grabbed 5 offensive boards, and many of them came when he was playing SF. That Asik-Davis-Anderson lineup actually looked great. They went on an instant 11-0 run, and played a zone D. Great idea by Monty to mitigate the effects of Anderson playing SF and kept AD near the rim.

    The bad
    • The bench was god awful. Remember how I said we had a 30 point lead? Yeah when the starters all sat in the second half, the bench unit of Rivers-Jimmer-Salmons/Miller-Withey/Young-and Ajinca nearly blew it. They were god awful defensively, and turnover machines offensively. Bench combined for 15 turnovers. Yuck.
    • Rivers had a decent game statistically, but man he looked ugly out there.
    • Bench has to stop fouling.

You can use it for free but I think there's a restriction on size or watermark or something. It's worth the $1+ for it.

Spot on assessment. What does worry me is Eric Gordon's lack of effectiveness while as a starter. He's decent off the ball in spot up attempts, but the offense becomes stagnant whenever the ball is in his hands. Is it a coincidence that he was the only starter who didn't register even one assist? Also, I know it's a questionable stat, but check out the +- of all the starters. Yikes.

Monty has a lot of work to do figuring out where Gordon best belongs.

Gordon to me lately has been looking to pass more he tried to dish out some dimes but they just didn't connect this game.

Jimmer didn't even come in until 5 minutes in the Fourth Quarter. Rivers was bad along with everyone else. Also Jrue had about 5 shots he should have taken. Hopefully he still not gun shy.

Look at Drew Gooden on the bench, celebrates then realizes he shouldnt.. so pretends his looking to the crowd behind him.

    great assessment, spot on.

I'd like to add Asik has a much better offensive arsenal than I give him credit for. Also he is a big slow oaf. He is quick.

Uhm i read "Davis leaves with ankle sprain" and panicked immediately. How bad is it?

And how many other months of getting bogged down by gordon will we have to suffer?

ITs amazing how much media attention Anthony Davis gets now.. he sprained his wrist and he gets a bleacher report article about it.
