If Evans goes down I don’t want to rely on Babbitt, Miller or Salmons for too long.
I’d keep Young and Smith on the IA list, but IMO Withey has no place on this team.

Maybe something small like we did for Vasquez and Pondexter.

I’d take a second rounder in 2015 for Withey to be honest.
Miller might be a possibility but Denver have depth at the C.
Middleton and a future 2nd for Withey…..I doubt they do that.

Middleton is a QO next season.
I think they are less likely to match considerable offers for him since they have the Greek freak and Parker at SF.

The only problem we can’t even offer anything considerable next season unless Gordon opts out.

I'm sorry, I don't see Withey as having enough value for either of those teams to give up something to get him. His play hasn't exactly been better then what you might expect to find from other avenues that wouldn't require giving up an asset.

I agree that's why I think a future 2nd rounder would be about it.

I still don't see why so many want Gordon over Reke. Reke is the best creator on the team-gets into the lane easier than anyone else. What is most important though is asking the question, who fits best with Davis? Team is built around Davis so the first thing anyone should ask is does this player or that player fit better next to him.

Is there anyone with the chemistry he and Reke have on this team? Ryno fits well next to Davis but Reke constantly creates for him. They just mesh well. Reke and Jrue also pair together well. His ability to get into the lane opens the game up for everyone.

I'd bring Gordon off the bench. As a shooter he can play off Jrue, Reke or Rivers. Reke at SF won't work. Reke off the bench sees his mins cut down too much. But I've been saying that for a year. You all will get on my wave length sooner or later.

I think most who have been around long enough to see Gordon's work with NO would agree, it's more about what the coaching staff will do. And I think they still have confidence (or want to raise his trade value) in him to do that. Not to mention getting gordon to buy into that roll (which he won't)
