That's a tough break (no pun intended) for the Thunder. I never like to see injuries to anyone in any sport. It'll be interesting to see how different the Thunder's offense performs without the Association's MVP.
BTW, does anyone know where I can find a downloadable Pel's schedule that I can download directly into my iPhone's calendar. I Googled it and all I came up with was the 2013-2014 schedule, which obviously doesn't do me any good. I'd appreciate any info anyone could pass along regarding this topic.

We play them the 2nd of December at home, hate seeing injuries but I would like to say that gives us a free win that wasn't guaranteed prior. The wizards are without beal as well and we play them so that's 2 wins we should get against tough teams missing key players.
I'm no Dr., but I reading it's a fracture of the fifth metatarsal of the foot. Not an ankle injury.
Yeah that sucks for them but Westbrook will still hold that team down without him
I'm a grinder
I guess we'll now see how Westbrook performs without durantula like he's been doing with out Westbrook
Durant is my favorite player not on the Pels so that does suck
New Orleans Pelicans-Seattle Seahawks-Atlanta Braves-Anaheim Ducks

So...for Westbrook, it'll be business as usual.
Saw this online:
Westbrook be like
Sucks, i'm a big fan of Durant.
Now we'll see if Westbrook is who so many people claim he is, a true first option.
I'm sorry for durant, not a single bit for the team
Never want to see guys go down. But like some already pointed out it will be very interesting to see Westbrook be the lone guy.
And his backups are Lance Thomas and Perry Jones-Ouch
Durant had only missed 17 games in his career
Season ticket holder since 2002
Mostly just trying to satisfy my OCD tendencies by getting to 3,000 posts
OKC is a very resilient squad. They'll be tough despite Westbrook's 25 shot attempts per.
Up here in OKC it's been raining since Durant's injury was announced.
I find it extremely ironic considering he pulled out of the World Cup in order to rest & try to avoid injury.
While I don't believe OKC will miss the playoffs, they don't have much at the 3 to back him up. I expect Morrow and Lamb to start at the wings.
Westbrook will step up, but I don't see him having an MVP-type season although I know he'll jack up enough shots to try.
Westbrook gets a lot of hate, mostly for his volume of shots & his attitude regarding this. I've always been a fan, mostly because he gives everything he has every time he's on the court. The guy is a pitbull.
Westbrook will get his stats, I just don't think that will equate to very many W's while Durant is out.
I believe that Westbrook is in prime position to be the face of that franchise. He is a year removed from injury, he came back strong last season, he has a young enough crew around him where if they are weak minded they will follow him for the season as opposed to Durant.
Lets not kid ourselves here, Durant is amazing, but without Westbrook we saw how far he could take a team in the playoffs. If Westbrook and the Thunder can come out like a bullet and mow down the competition, you could be seeing a guy looking for more shine and respect than Durant (in Westbrook).
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
