    Why is it when your favorite players suck in preseason its don't worry it's preseason But when your favorite player kills it in preseason, it's a precursor to the season to come?
    The most overused words on Pelicansreport.com. Wrongly, I might add.

    ELITE - (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.

    GREAT - notable; remarkable; exceptionally outstanding

    These words should not be used lightly

    I wasn't directing at anyone. I ask the question because I see people saying that the bad play is no big deal because is preseason. If the same players were doing well, they'd be applauding

    Because it's more fun to be optimistic than pessimisic?

    In general, if you have a larger sample size, it makes more sense to go with that. A few games games in any setting is almost meaningless.

    He was playing the best D of the reserves from what I saw. Schroder drove on him about 7 times and couldn't score.

    It's preseason. but Asik missing free throws and AD missing jumpers are things that can't be ignored. Anyone think the jammed fingers affected AD's shooting?

    Its preseason, jump shots are rhythmic, u get into a groove as the season goes along, ur looking too far into it IMO
