First Preseason Game: Pelicans vs. Heat
With the current state of the team what are you expecting to see tonight?
Im expecting a few things:
1) Asik and Davis will have very limited minutes due to lack of rest this offseason.
2) Austin to play off ball a lot more
3) Gordon to show explosiveness
4) Anderson to look like the Anderson we know but his minutes may be limited
5) a battle for the small forward stsrting position
6) maybe some practice plays for Jimmer snd Ryno
Is there no television broadcast at all? Not even league pass?

The NBA needs to really take notes from NFL about handling their scheduling and access to their sport. Everything the NBA does needs to be accessible to the fans via TV, laptop, smartphone, etc. I end up making this point a lot, but the NBA really needs to cut their season down by like 20 games and make the playoffs best of 5 all the way through. Viewership is where the money is. The NBA is still clinging to an outdated business model of focusing too much on attendance.

I have had to just take random fans word that local team's games remained blacked even when archived on League Pass. Trying to contact League Pass directly will not happen. They don't seem to exist. I got pushed off to Cox and the poor guy has no clue on how anything works.
I'm trying to give these idiots my money for LP, but they seem to want me to go buy a ticket or give more to Cox Cable. Pathetic.

It's annoying that despite not being televised, it still appears on league pass as though it starts in a few hours.

In this glorious digital age of the digital world where everything is digitally digital...couldn't be arsed to bring a camera and stream the damn game? We can stream D-League games on YouTube but can't do it with this? Don't even need sideline camreas. It takes all of two people to work. One person to run the stream and edit the feed if need be. Another to keep an eye on the camera.

It's sad this game is the equivalent to the Hall of Fame bowl and it won't be televised. Hopefully Silver makes these kind of things a bigger issues than changing the lottery or the age limit.

According to someone commenting about it on the Pelicans facebook page, the game can't be filmed because of "arena regulations" ...
