NBA N/P: Suns possibly trying to move Bledsoe

"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin

If you read the source article it's from it doesn't sound likely. They aren't looking to dump him and who's going to give value for him? Phoenix's concerns about not giving him more thatn 4/$48 are legit, Bledsoe is still more potential than proven and he has shown significant durability issues. What team will both give Bledsoe more money and trade value to Phoenix?

he hasn't received any offer sheets from other teams
he received only 12m/year from Phx

he isn't max player. it reminds me Eric Gordon's case after his first season here. very talented with some injury concerns.
the difference was that there was one team that had given him the max offer.

and one that have decided to give him the same money....

Bledsoe apparently also has the power to veto any trade so I imagine he is still trying to get max or near-max money and no team that PHX has found in trades is willing to pay him that much.

    Bledsoe for Gordon

Do people think that a Bledsoe for Gordon swap would be worth it? I like the idea of pairing Jrue and Bledsoe, but I'm not sure whether Bledsoe is worth a max deal or whether Bledsoe and Jrue can both play alongside Reke.

No, I wouldn't do it. Bledsoe's long term health is a concern. I wouldn't want to bring in a smaller shoot first PG to play with Jrue. That would make it even harder on AD and Asik...

It would but no way Suns want Gordon now.

Crazy. You wouldn't do it and neither would the Suns.

If they wanted an injury prone guard on a max contract they'd just give Bledsoe what he wanted.

Milwaukee may still want Bledsoe... 3-team trade between the Pels, Suns and Bucks

Suns get Eric Gordon and Withey
    Bucks get Bledsoe
Pels get Greek Freak and OJ Mayo

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kevndw5

No the Bucks wouldn't do it but let a brotha dream

Would rather have Isaiah Thomas than Bledsoe. Thomas will be a crazy offensife firepower off the bench
I don't think Bucks want to part with the greek Freak. Coach Kidd's biggest strength is his abilty to develop point guard.

    I'm a grinder

Ryno + Gordon for Bledsoe...Then move Tyreke for a real SF

Only I would be hesitant to do that considering Bledsoe health issues and what the teams been through with Gordons health and max deal

I wouldn't be surprised if Jason Kidd is a sociopath. Something is definitely wrong with him

    Three way deal with Wolves?

    Wolves get Bledsoe and Babbitt
    Pels get Martin and Brewer
    Suns get Gordon and Withey

    ???

don t want bledsoe, all we need is another injury prone max contract player named Eric.

What I would LOVE is to move gordon, put tyreke at SG and get a REAL small forward.

this team would be unstoppable then!

I actually want to edit my trade idea to include a fourth team (Bucks). The trade would be this:

Bucks get Bledsoe & Markieff Morris
    Wolves get Mayo & Babbitt
    Pels get Martin and Brewer
Suns get Gordon, Ilyasova, and Withey

Gives the Bucks an interesting team in Bledsoe, Parker, and Greek Freak

Gives the Suns a SG that would work well with Dragic and a stretch 4 to replace Frye

Gives the Wolves an expiring in Mayo and let's Wiggins ease in

Gives the Pels a legit 3 that plays solid D and moves Evans to SG. Also gives us enough money to sign Andray Blatche to be our backup 5...

tyreke and brewer together would obliterate our floor spacing, it would be terrible.
