Thread: Pelicans Depth Chart as listed on Rotoworld

Reke is not a SF for ****s sake.

He operates best with the ball.

Jrue may have to go to unleash Rekes potential.

This is my 3 deep depth chart, but many players may start out and play more at their other position which is in parentheses.

    C: Asik, Ajinca, Withey

    PF: AD(C), Ryno, Young(C)

    SF: Reke(SG,PG), Miller, Babbitt(PF)

    SG: Gordon, Salmons(SF), Fredette(PG)

    PG: Jrue, Rivers(SG), Russ

    A few things.
    1. I think of all 15 guys Babbit, Miller, Young, Russ and Whitley will all see the least amount of minutes on the team. So having Miller or Babbit starting or a direct backup is very questionable and likely it won't happen.

    2. Everyone has holes on their team in the NBA. There are very very few teams that don't have any wholes in the starting lineup and has a good bench.

    3. I think our lineup (backup lineup mainly) will change on a situational and matchup basis. If we need shooting we will put shooters in the game. If we need defense we will put defenders in the game. When we need an all around good effort we will put a balanced lineup in the game.
