double checking to be sure this thread isn't really about Lewis or Garcia.....
I think I will go with 10, 10, 1.8, 57 % and hopefully 65% + from the free throw line.....
"we might make dollars, but we don't necessarily make sense"
"always be sincere....whether you mean it or not"
8 points - 9 rebounds - 1.2 blocks - 50-53% FG
8 and 8 and 1.8 blocks....it would be more, but i think he will lead the league in fouls. So it is an awesome 8 and 8

Really the only stat we can't project is shots contested and solid box outs using his body, and I honestly view those more important than the ones we can put a # on.
He was about 10/12 in Houston as a starter when they didn't really have any other bigs who could score. With Davis and Anderson here, I'd be surprised if he's at 10+ points per game. Most likely I think he'll be closer to 8 pts 10 rbs.
Honestly, the only stats i care about this year are wins. It'd be nice if Asik comes in and grabs 12 boards and shoots 55% and blocks 2 shots, but man I'm thirsty for some wins.
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Enough. Lol seriously his stats really won't tell the complete story about what he could possibly bring to the table, especially defensivley. Barring no injuries, this season better be awesome.
R.I.P. to HunnyB/FlyGirl
Something like this:
7.8 ppg
11.5 rpg
2.3 bpg
He shouldn't score as much as he did his only other year starting at center cause we will not need his scoring and like previously stated he will have more help in the paint than he had at Houston that year. So I say about 6 to 8 points a night mainly on put backs and made free throws. The bottom two stats are were we need him to be above average. He should average double figure rebounds easily IMO and 2 to 3 blocks a game hopefully.
How many 3's y'all think he is gonna take this year?
Asik is not a shot-blocker. If he plays less than 30 mins he'll be lucky to top 1 bpg let alone get 2
yep, if he does 30 min and plays the same quality as his first season with the rockets 10/11/1
9 ppg
10.5 rbp
"These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it."—Charles Barkley
I'll say 10-12 rpg
Other than that the things he's gonna do for this team can't be measured.
For perspective. These are his career averages:
PTS REB
5.6 7.2
The most overused words on Pelicansreport.com. Wrongly, I might add.
ELITE - (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.
GREAT - notable; remarkable; exceptionally outstanding
These words should not be used lightly
