Even RotoWorld is speculating. Here's another one...

"It must have happened because he tweeted something ambiguous!"

I get that it's cryptic, and it could mean something, but that guy should wait before saying it definitely happened.

    SOMETHING DID HAPPEN! HE TWEETED!

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

    Celtics fans reactions:

o well, we should still pass on him, even if he is cheap

    He sucks

He was bust from the word go
If we didn't already have a ton of guards I'd say give Austin a shot - he's not nearly as good as his HS/college hype, but probably not as bad as he looked in New Orleans either. Hope he finds himself a better situation.
Some say they would give him a minimum contract. Man his value is rock bottom.

People are just jumping to conclusions right now, read the comments under that instagram post. Everyone responding is acting like he's not on the team anymore.

If they cut him or move him, it better be for a good reason. It makes no sense to just cut him unless something is in the works; he is a solid defender and he can hit the open 3.

Copeland shot 45.9% from the catch and shoot three last year, and had an EFG of 68.9% in the catch and shoot! 1.5 attempts per game too!

He also shot 48.8% from three in the spot up and overall 1.33 PPP good for 5th in the league (limited sample size)

    Jesus thats perfect for us.

You're getting me excited about Cope now. I'm going to blame you if it doesn't happen.

He was our best spot up 3 last season (IIRC, 46% or something like that) and he's a good defender too. Also improving consistently. Makes no sense to just give him up

Didn't we waste our MLE just to keep guys like he and Babbitt? Wouldn't understand just waiving him.

Besides pure speculation from an Instagram post, there is NOTHING else out there saying Rivers was traded or waived. This is PURE SPECULATION by fans.

I don't see how dumping one of our guards is a good idea after we were able to make the Asik trade without dropping him. That was the only reason we were talking about getting rid of him.

Now that that trade is over dropping him would make little sense. It could only be a trade but the trade would have to benefit us quite a bit because we'd be losing our 4th guard. It would also mean we'd only have Russ to back up either guard spot which makes little sense. I just don't see it.

Well not trying to add to the speculation but if we signed Fells would essentially have 5 Guards: Jrue, Gordon, Evans, Smith, Fells. Besides Fells the other 4 can run point if needed.

Those are great looking numbers but keep in mind those stats game from him playing 6.5mpg last year. Was barely getting on the floor.

Man even If Its getting rid of Rivers. Is Chris Copeland really the best we can do? He couldn't even sniff the bench last year in Indy.

Don't know if you can but you really need to watch the last 2 SL games.

    Yeah in 15mpg lol

I actually like Copeland, I'm just starting to wonder if there's a reason he's not geting playing time after putting up %'s like that.
