What are your guys thoughts? Does this make Henderson expendable? If nothing else I'm happy he stayed in the East, but who thinks its worth the risk?

well worth the risk and makes the hornets a top5 team out there in the east
3rd year is a team option too
SIGN A SF
turned 5-44 for 3-27
little more money, but shorter deal
probably he wanted to go out from Indiana
wasn't he RFA?
maybe he just signed the offer sheet
He is unrestricted so he is heading to charlotte and gives the hornets another playmaker/ball handler besides walker who can take some pressure off this unit. I wouldn't say they overpaid for his services either.
I hate to say but you know everyone's thinking it, Pacers have a huge whole at 2 guard and we happen to have an Indiana boy who is available. Anyone else really left on the market at 2 guard for them? How far do you believe this drops them in the east?
i cannot see anybody in FA
so hibbert for SG?
there is one but what we will do with 2nd center?
lance is 9-9-9,5 (3rd is team option). 27,5 in total
probably looking to restore his image and get a bigger contract when this one is up
Can't understand why he would turn down 5/44 for 3/27. Makes no sense.
shorter deal, starting spot, escape from indiana?
who knows
I mean, he will only be 26 in 3 years. Only way he doesn't make that money back and more is if serious injuries pile up. And who knows - maybe Indy maybe lowered their offer after Lance turned it down or took it off the table.
I'm actually pretty shocked he signed there. Hornets aren't going to be bad this year.
Him and PJ Hairston are gonna have some fun together, I will tell you that. Like a grown up, dangerous version of the Bash Brothers from the Mighty Ducks 2
I don't think it has any chance of happening, but a legal trade would be:
Pacers: Gordon
Bobcats: Lance (S&T)
Pelicans: Chris Copeland
Pels would also gain a 12 million dollar trade exception that they would have a year to use. Don't know why Bobcats would do it, and don't think we would, but I assume that this is where this thread would eventually go, so I will help get it there.
nice trade
is it possible financially from the Pacers side? i mean with salary cap?
Thanks MM, I was doing the samething I know it won't happen but I knew someone would jump on it and its fun to speculate. What do you think Indy does next? It appears the east keeps getting stronger and I see Bulls, Cavs, Heat, Wizards, Hornets, Raptors as a top six with Pacers, Knicks, Nets, Hawks battling for two spots. I think the Pacers are in that top 6 Mix still, but obviously more pressure than last year.
