"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
If I'm HOU I'd rather Ariza @ 10M's over three season than Parsons @ 15M's over 3 seasons.
Houston restricted free agent Troy Daniels is in strong discussions on a possible deal with the Rockets, league sources tell RealGM.

LOL.
He'll be the 4th option where he's more suited. The Problem is teams see Ariza having a great year and think he can be a 2 or 3 and that's not him (especially in the Robin role). Ariza as a wing defender, floor spacer, and slasher is a great fit for most teams. Ariza as a shot creator and a guy you rely on night in night out is when the problems start to come in.
The Houston Rockets have agreed to a four-year, $32 million deal with Trevor Ariza, @USATODAYsports has learned.

From the man himself
8 millions a year for ariza...
Ok...
Is it just me or this free agency is totally crazy?
I mean, ariza is good and everything but geez...

With a 4-year, $32M agreement for free agent Trevor Ariza, Houston could still match offer sheet for Chandler Parsons, source tells Yahoo.

"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin
