Morrow officially gone. To rockets for 3 year 10 miles deal

Edit: def late on that one. Sucks to see him go. By far one of my favorite players last year

If Westbrook actually passes that's a huge get.

If you hate the Rockets, give this a listen. You can taste their tears. It's amazing. Like really, amazing.

The rockets meltdown has almost made this FA worth it.
^^ Hate to admit it but every time i think about it....

Someone posted that South Park picture yesterday (maybe you) and its been stuck in my head since. When someone linked that Houston writer and I listened to the podcast it's all I could think.

That money in NYC with Phil Jackson. Can't believe lebron's decision even mattered.

    Worse contract, Bosh's or Melo's?
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Bosh for sure. Although I think Basketball wise Melo made the wrong decision but time will tell. Maybe they can make some moves for niche guys that are cheap but work well in a triangle offense.

Melo. Without a doubt. Would never want a selfish cancer on my team spending that type of money.

Knick fans acting like their time is now. Smh, wasn't their time supposed to be 3 years ago?

The worst contract though is probably Gordon Hayward.

If Bosh can return to his 24-11 Toronto form with his improved 3pt shooting and much improved defense since being in Miami's system I think I take him over Melo.

He'll get his chance to prove it though because without Bron and Wade not able to play 1/3 of the season anymore he is gonna be the go to option. Should also be interesting to see how Erik Spoelstra adapts.

Now people can finally put to rest if Spo can coach or not. There is still a good bit of people who think he has no real offensive scheme.

The closer we get to 12:01 and we don't hear of another trade the more worried I get that we lose Rivers for nothing. Not only that but we end up having to stretch him.

I'm giving Dell the benefit of the doubt, but can we talk about how he sliced the rockets up on this? Any chance he knew they'd strike out? Since he knew about Bron and Cleveland clearly. Regardless, I'd rather have a clearly expendable player being overpaid for two more years than whiffing on Bosh and Melo and talking myself into 8 years and 100+ million for Parsons and Ariza. All hail the genius Morey! (Seriously, give a high 5 to Cuba for that)

I think they're already better. Not that they added a ton of talent, but they got a few journeymen, cleaned up their books a bit, and actually resemble an nba team. They make the playoffs from here on out.
