True, they now have room to go after 2nd tier, and 3rd tier players.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Ok so what happens with Parsons now? Rockets will surely hang on to him correct? Or is it smart to let Dallas have him? (For whatever reason)

I would like to think the Asik deal sticks, but there is a chance Houston has a change of heart now that Bosh is gone.

They were going to keep him pre-Bosh decision. I don't see why they change their mind post-Bosh decision.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

I would think they would keep him now.

When the trade was agreed upon, LeBron, Wade and Bosh were all staying in Miami together.

Well, we've already discussed how detrimental to a team's reputation backing out of an agreed deal can be...plus let's not forget that:

A- Houston has already attempted to deal Asik in the past and were unable to procure two first rounders for him, his initial marked price
B- Asik, unless he's had a drastic change of heart, still wants out of Houston. If a GM has the ability to get rid of a malcontent for solid assets, they typically pull the trigger
C- This decision was made when the general understanding around the league was that LeBron was staying in Miami

An those solid assets they're getting in this deal are ?????

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Asset* being a first round pick. Plus cap relief is always a plus I guess.

Hmm not sure if I articulated what I meant well enough from this response

Darn. The only thing that sucks is, now that Bosh is staying, maybe Houston would have taken back some guaranteed money and we kept our MLE/BAE. Oh well.

The money getting thrown around to middling level players is...it's unreal.

If I was 6'10" I'd probably be a millionaire too.

I wish an NBA front office would toss some money my way. Just like.. $2000. I don't think anyone would notice.

I'm happy they're matching him. 15m per year for Parsons is ridiculous.

Cavs should easily trade Wiggins for Love. No brainer.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Hell. Everyone says my voice sounds like James Earl Jones and Barry White. I'll sing or read whatever they want.

    Just give me a mic!

ESPN NBA Insiders are terrible, especially Broussard. He's a clown.
