Is Noel any bigger?
The main thing I worry about Noel is that he seems to lack strength, even after devoting most of last season to strength and conditioning. He is going to get pushed around for quite a while if he is asked to play center.Originally Posted by Schmide234

Not really. He's playing garbage man at this point. He'll have so much trouble doing that against bigger NBA bodies. And he isn't rebounding.

I understand that this is summer league, was just commenting on how he seems to have an array of shots around the basket. Left hand off the backboard, drive and finish with contact, right hand floater over contest.

People seem to use summer league to support whatever they thought about said player before summer league. If you expect the guy to be a beast, him playing well reinforces that. He plays like crap, you chalk it up as "it's just summer league." Same goes if you think a player will be garbage.
Noel is not getting pushed around by a 250lb guy right now. The guy may be garbage but that shows he may not get pushed around as much as people worried.
He has shown far more offensive moves then he did in college. That shows he's working on his game and improving. He is 100% from the FT line. which is a huge skill for a Center. Especially coming from a guy that was so poor there in college. He's been good disrupting ball handlers and getting steals. He is passing well and playing decent D.
He has been abysmal on the glass and that should be concerning. He has been fouling a lot and turning the ball over. Both things that he needs to work on.
