Those of you who "know" me, can attest that I appreciate a good debate, I appreciate throwing out roster construction possibilities, and I'm usually not one to gossip.

The only time I think I've ever posted rumors, is back when this was HornetsReport, I had a different alias, and I heard from pretty reliable source that Tom Benson was still in the running to be the next owner. The source was so reliable that I couldn't wait to share. And usually my sources are going to be very reliable folks, but mostly on the business side of things.

This time, I got a real bonafide nugget I couldn't wait to share from someone on the basketball side. And since I don't want to recreate the RekeHavoc chaos and don't have time to reply to everyone's messages, I'm just going to spill the beans.

Minnesota has offered Kevin Martin for Eric Gordon.

That's all I got. Not sure what we told Minnesota, not sure if it's still on the table, and not sure when this offer was made.

Martins contract runs a year longer, Gordon has more upside, trying to convince love to stay. It actually makes a lot of sense... I'm not sure why I didn't think of it.

Gives them a lot of money off the books next year or the year after. Let's them bottom out too. Maybe they don't move love and then when love opts out, Gordon does too. Holy crap I'm doing cartwheels at the thought of this.
