Back when I was a kid (80's) nearly every GM in the league used to quote and practice the old axiom of when in doubt draft or go with a BIG and then let the rest sort itself out later
if we draft Anthony Davis as anyone would have
then follow up with John Henson with our tenth pick of that draft
then take Nerlens Noel last year (without trading him)
we would probably been a little worse this past year,; hence, had a higher pick this year
would we be better off?
